Contribute to implementation of planned teaching, learning and assessment.

Identify, support and report on learners’ well-being, mental health and pastoral needs, including through referral to other professionals or services.
Contribute to the selection and preparation of teaching resources to support a stimulating and safe learning environment.
Types of learning intervention including how technology can safely support and enhance learning. The stages of development for children and the adaptation of teaching strategies.
Implement safeguarding policies and safe practice, including online safety.
Comply with legislation, guidance procedures for Prevent, safeguarding and health & safety and encourage the safe use of technology. Apply behaviour management strategies in line with your pastoral policy.
Support or lead enrichment activities.
Recognise the positive impact of enrichment activities on learners while building strong relationships with the school community and stakeholders. Support well-being, mental health, and foster respect for equality, diversity, and inclusion. Serve as a positive role model by upholding and exemplifying the school’s values.

Flexible enrolment and delivery
Enrolment is all year round with online eligibility testing. Training can start within 7 days. There is no minimum cohort size. All training is completed in the workplace.
Dedicated sector specialist tutor for the duration of your apprenticeship
This provides continuity and consistency, with a tutor who is familiar with each of the apprentice’s settings and roles.
Content relevance and course length
Expert assessment of prior knowledge and experience to optimise course content and length, important when upskilling existing staff. OTJ hours are not a funding ‘measure’, they are a reflection of the normal activities.
